'My Fair Lady' opened on Broadway at the Mark Hellinger Theatre on the 15th of March 1956 and ran for 2717 performances, making it the longest running musical in Broadway history up to that point. Critically it won 6 Tony awards and was made into a film in 1964 which won an Academy Award for Best Picture.
'My Fair Lady' opened in London's West End in 1958 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and ran for 2281 performaces. Subsequently it has been revived a number of times both on Broadway and in the West End and international performances include in Paris and Berlin.
